How to be More Present in a Conversation

Workshop Length: 1-3 hours

Effective listening is critical in mitigating conflict. Listening does not guarantee that conflict will never happen, nor will it solve all problems. In this seminar, participants will learn the following:

  • How to recognize and remove common listening roadblocks
  • How to listen to gain understanding
  • How to express and encourage empathy
  • How to overcome emotions when listening
  • How to listen without feeling anxious
  • When to stop listening
